Richie Beyer, PE, County Engineer for Elmore County, Ala., was awarded the 2015 ALSITE Transportation Safety Award. The Alabama Section Institute of Transportation Engineers annually awards an individual who has made significant contributions to the field of transportation in Alabama.

“We discovered Richie is no stranger to recognition, and deservedly so,” acknowledged Jeffrey Stephenson, PE, PTOE, ALSITE Past President. “He was a former officer and is an active member of the Association of County Engineers of Alabama (ACEA).
